Jana Kramer became famous on television, where she played Alex on One Tree Hill's last three seasons. The series featured her first releases as country music which helped her debut album to the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. The follow-up Thirty One in 2015 Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The decade ended by participation in Dancing with the Stars. The self-doubting Voices came out in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native that was raised in the country genre. While she was pursuing a recording and acting career, her debut on screen was in the horror independent film Dead/Undead (2002) while still in high school. Through the years, she appeared on several series, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the regular role as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season (2007-2008). Kramer then appeared on 90210 for the character of Portia Randson from 2008-2009, and also as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. In 2009 she joined the cast of One Tree Hill with the character Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until about midway through the last season of One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her get a recording contract from Elektra Records. In 2011, she premiered the modern love song from the country genre I Won't Let Go. The track was later featured on the debut full-length album of Jana Kramer in the middle of 2012. The track was featured in the Top Country Albums of Billboard's chart in the Top Five. In the following years she made a career of acting film and music. She starred in several films like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016, which appealed directly to her fans. Kramer's second album Thirty One, was released on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of 2015. The album was helped by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. This album reached number 3 among the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. Beginning in September of 2016 she stayed for two months participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth place. The same year she was also a part of an adult contemporary hit with the song "Feels Like" Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
