Andree Martinez

Andree was born in El Paso Texas. She was born and brought up in Chihuahua Mexico. Her family is one which has a lot of entertainment genes. As a child, her family was full of television personalities, like Karla who was the host of Univision's Despierta America. As a young child she was surrounded by TV personalities like her younger sister, Karla (Host for Univision's Desperta America! Andrew Martinez is vice president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE) One of the largest electric utilities in the country. SCE is accountable for the business's programs, activities and policies that are focused on the safety of employees and their security. Martinez helps safety leaders achieve group safety objectives by providing guidance to them as well as high-quality safety training programs. Before assuming his current role Martinez was director for Safety Training and Compliance for Transmission & Distribution at SCE. Prior to that he served as the director for Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services at SCE. During the 30 years that he was at SCE, Martinez held a number of positions of leadership in programs that were designed to improve performance as well as corrective actions. This included roles at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station SONGS which focused on protecting the safety of public and employees.
