Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at age of 14. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd built on this victory and began a 3 fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in each fight. She then returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. This put a stain on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd rebounded from her defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey as a professional. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the the first round via TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized the techniques she learned from wrestling to defeat McGill. Aspen ended the fight with a TKO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina with a pound and grind to her before prevailing by TKO in second round. When she next faced Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd won the fight in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night Bonus. She fought her first big fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters put up a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd taking a unanimous win and each fighter getting their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight, breaking her streak to win. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in UFC at ESPN 7. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was lost by unanimous vote.
